dc.description.abstract This paper discusses the issues concerning the efficiency of integrated and independently managed hospitals in a selected region of Czech Republic -Central Bohemia. A DEA method was used to evaluate the efficiency for both. The subjects of the analyses are 5 hospitals which are part of one holding and 7 other hospitals in the same region, managed independently. © Petra Vrbova, Vaclav Cempirek, Jiri Alina, 2016. en
