Abstract

This paper presents the methodology and the results to date of the Museums Without Barriers project, which aims to strengthen the involvement of people with specific learning disabilities, particularly dyslexia, in the museum and gallery environment. The research focuses on young Generation Z adults, applying a combination of innovative qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews, eye-tracking studies and design thinking approaches. The project deliverables include a model solution for inclusive visual communication, which contributes to increasing the accessibility and user-friendliness of cultural institutions for selected groups of visitors.
