Abstract: In this study we compare the performance of two popular variants of PSO algorithm the diversity guided PSO and heterogeneous PSO. The IEEE CEC 2015 benchmark set is used to test and compare the performance of the methods. The results are statistically evaluated and discussed. © 2017 Author(s).
