dc.description.abstract The paper deals with mathematical modeling of heating and cooling of fluids in heat exchanger by use software MAPLE. It describes computer teaching application programmed in MAPLE for computation of temperature curves derived from mathematical model of heat balance in the thermal isolated counterflow tube heat exchanger. The accuracy of data computed by MAPLE were verified by simulation with use commercial software COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS. The obtained results are also presented. en
