| Abstract: | This paper deals with evolutionary algorithm SOMA (SelfOrganizing Migrating Algorithm) and studies the performance impact from Step size point of view based on information theory. For this preliminary study a simple unimodal (with one extreme) function was chosen. The article describes technique of analysis and results are well-arranged shown in graphs and charts. |
