dc.description.abstract Creating models of the injection molded products by computer allows to make analysis of the design suitability. There are a few kinds of analysis. Mechanical analysis which describes stress in loaded article. Mold flow analysis shows filling mold cavity of the melt polymer and allows to optimize the runners and gates system. Thermal analysis describing cooling of the melt polymer in the mold. It is possible to use model of the article as basic pillar for designing of the injection mold in 3D geometry with help of software library containing standard mold parts. All these steps lead to the testing of the article and mold in memory of the computer and optimization of the injection process. Results of the steps reduce time market and cut development costs en
