dc.description.abstract This paper presents a mathematical model of flow washing with the initial volume of the washing bath of preserved raw hides by salt. The main result of this work is the determination of the concentration field of the preservative in the raw material depending on the washing time and the size of the washing water flow, based on the correct laboratory-determined diffusion coefficient of the preservative using a tortuous factor. The paper points out the usefulness of applying theoretical tools of chemical engineering in areas such as the tanning industry. © 2022 IEEE. en
