dc.description.abstract Weather forecast is one of the key pieces of information used by state crisis management. The weather forecast is processed and published by the National Meteorological Service. The published weather forecast is the output of the information system of the workplace of the National Meteorological Service. The quality and usability of the weather forecast is determined by number of factors. Between key factors are the information content of the forecast and the ease of working with the information system. The departments of the National Meteorological Service publish the weather forecast on their website. There are number of methods to evaluate the quality of a website. The websites of the National Meteorological Service of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Portugal are assessed and compared in article. The evaluation was performed by heuristic analysis using indicators of expertness, usableness, arrangementness and search. The conclusion of the article is a comparison of evaluations and evaluations of the positives and negatives and specificities of weather forecasts presented by the evaluated sites. © 2021 IEEE. en
