dc.description.abstract This research analyzes the current archive of inferior solutions used in Success-History based Adaptive Differential Evolution (SHADE) and tests its influence on the result of optimization. A novel Enhanced Archive (EA) is analyzed in the same way and the results are compared. In order to compare both methods on different types of test functions, CEC2015 benchmark set was used as the test bed. Results suggest that there is a possibility for further research because current existing archive implementations do not provide sufficient benefits to the optimization algorithm. © Springer International Publishing AG 2017. en
