dc.description.abstract In this paper, it is proposed the utilization of three different chaotic maps based number generators to enhance the performance of PSO algorithm with inertia weight. This initial study presents results of performance testing on several test functions. Results obtained for different chaotic generators are compared and briefly analyzed. en
