dc.description.abstract This contribution deals with the preparation of blue polymer light emitting diode based on a blend of UV active conductive polymer (polysilane - poly[dimethylsilanemethylphenylsilane]) and borane cluster (B18H22) - which is a representative compound of a new class of blue-emitting materials. The blend was incorporated into the functional device as an active layer for the first time. Preliminary results based on the photoluminescence characterization and electric characterization of final devices show the ability to prepare blue-emitting diode in such way. © 2019 IEEE. en
