dc.description.abstract Optimization of sensor placement is a crucial task within the Video Surveillance System (VSS) design. This research paper provides approach to risk assessment quantification related to VSS design. Quantification framework of VSS risk assessment is dimensioned. Particular attributes of the system are proposed, then organized and divided into corresponding layers. Moreover, the data model of VSS is proposed. Variable interactions are specified and tuned according to best practices in related area of interest. The further application possibilities and future research possibilities are provided at conclusion of this research paper. en
