dc.description.abstract There are currently various styles of management being used to secure smooth and continuous planning and construction of new plants for processing of raw materials. One of the styles, which is economically effective, and at the same time ensures maintaining a high quality within the required time is project management which is also most frequently used. However, even when using this style of management it is essential to anticipate emergency situations that may arise due to various unexpected complications during the construction process. Nowadays, project management is considered to be the key that contributes towards better working practices in most companies. Since 2012 mobile SW applications have been on the increase and this has led to an increase in remote project management. Individuals and also companies can now manage their projects anytime and anywhere. This article deals with the use of the modern tool for project management - Microsoft Project. This SW is used for successful planning, implementation and control of designing conveyors for new plants which will be used in individual manufacturing processes mainly in the field of mining, processing of mineral materials, fuels and power, waste treatment, building, as well as food processing and agriculture. Microsoft Project allows early detection of problems and it also provides alternative solutions and measures during planning, implementation of installation and operation of these machines. en
