dc.description.abstract Biopolymeric nanoparticles (NPs) represent a promising approach to develop an effective drug delivery system. In order to design optimal nanocarriers or predict in vivo pharmacokinetic profiles, innovative in vitro testing methods using optical imaging of fluorescent NPs have been recently used(1-3). The aim of this study was to prepare Nile Blue-labelled nanocarriers based on hydrophobized hyaluronic acid derivatives and evaluate their behaviour in vitro. en
