dc.description.abstract This paper presents an initial proposal of methodology for converting the inner dynamics of PSO algorithm into complex network. The motivation is in the recent trend of adaptive methods for improving the performance of evolutionary computational techniques. It seems very likely that the complex network and its statistical characteristics can be used within those adaptive approaches. The methodology described in this paper manages to put significant amount of information about the inner dynamics of PSO algorithm into a complex network. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016. en
