Education of Roma Students-Always Current but Controversial Topic

Abstract

When analyzing the situation in education in the context of educating Romany students, we cannot help analyzing documents created on various levels in connection therewith. Moreover, we cannot ignore the views of the teachers who stand in the ,,first line", so to speak, in the clasrooms with the majority of Romany students. In the ensuing text, we try to analyze the principal problems captured in a letter two female teachers of Romany students, which they sent to the Slovak minister of education, Dušan Čaplovič.
