dc.description.abstract This paper shows the method of solution of load distribution between separate production units of heat source for optimization of combined production of heat and electric energy. Heat source is described by non-linear mathematical model. It was created from historical and modified data which were gained from the heating plant Brno. The mathematical model is used to determination of load distribution between separate production units and to determination of electric output produced by separate turbines. This non-linear optimizing problem is solved by means of solution of certain linear optimizing problem by using simplex method. en
