dc.description.abstract In this paper, it is proposed the utilization of chaotic Lozi map based chaos number generator to enhance the performance of PSO algorithm. This paper presents results of using chaos enhanced PSO algorithm to design a PID controller for 4th order system. Results are compared with other heuristic and non-heuristic methods. en
