dc.description.abstract This paper discusses the potential use of virtual reality technology in the security and protection of the population. Experimental using the properties of the scanning device, the actual public environment is recorded in a panoramic 2D image and subsequently adjusted for the needs of display in a virtual environment. The text also lists selected safety requirements. The article discusses the conclusions and potential of the application as a secondary tool in security issues. © 2022 IEEE. en
