O lidských "rasách" a rasismu z pohledu antropologa

Abstract

Obsahem monografie Rasismus, antisemitismus, holocaust je přehledné vystižení tematiky vymezené v názvu. Nejde o vyčerpávající zpracování tak rozsáhlého tématu. Každá ze tří v názvu naznačených kapitol však je doplněna o seznam využité a zejména další doporučené (rozšiřující) literatury. Úvodní kapitola autorky Martiny Ciché je věnována lidským „rasám“ a rasismu z pohledu antropologa. Jde o historicky zaměřený přehled ve vztahu k současnému pojetí „ras“ a situaci, týkající se xenofobních a rasistických tendencí ve společnosti.

The monography Racism, Antisemitism, Holocaust is an overview of the topic defined in its title. It is not a comprehensive compilation of such an extensive topic. Each of the three chapters indicated in the title is, however, accompanied by bibliography and above all with other recommended (extended) literature sources. The introductory chapter by Martina Cicha deals with human „races“ and racism from the viewpoint of an anthropologist. It brings a historically oriented overview in relation to current concept of „races“ and situations dealing with xenophobias and racist tendencies in society.
