Abstrakt: In the title compound, C18H22O, the dihedral angle between the carbonyl and benzene planes is 69.11 (6)°. In the adamantyl group, the three fused cyclohexane rings have almost ideal chair conformations, with C-C-C angles in the range 108.14 (11)-110.50 (11)°. No specific intermolecular interactions (other than van der Waals interactions) are present in the crystal
