dc.description.abstract Reduction of the CO2 output during the production of aluminium, which is overall rather energy intensive (Haraldsson and Johansson, 2018), is currently one of the challenging topics for aluminium industry. The present work proposes the design of a method for energy savings during production of aluminium coils. The proposed technique is based on a forced ventilation with a pure outside air directly in the intermediate storage. en
