dc.description.abstract The objective of this paper is to describe possible applications of the SW tool Practis in the educational processes of the security services and thus increase their preparedness. The SW Practis is a tool for simulating activities of these services. Especially, the SW provides support for the preparation and implementation of their actions, in other words scenarios of their activities. The use of the given SW is subject to the creation of a specialized workstation with the emphasis on visualization of processes for preparation of the entire training, its course and implementation. Both workstation and the SW Practis represent a unique approach towards the support of education and preparedness of the security services. What makes it particularly unparalleled is the combination of advantages of live and computer simulations. en
