dc.description.abstract	Článek se zabývá analýzou vlastností kompetentního manažera z pohledu studentů managementu a manažerů. Všechna data byla získána formou online ze vzorku 194 respondentů. Skupinu respondentů tvořili vybraní studenti managementu a manažeři z České republiky. Průzkum probíhal průběžně během kalendářního roku 2012. Hlavním cílem průzkumu bylo nalézt prioritní manažerské vlastnosti pro úspěšné řízení firmy a následně jejich srovnání. Výsledky podrobněji ukazují na odlišné a společné názory obou skupin respondentů.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The paper concentrates on an analysis of characteristics of a competent manager from the view of business management students and managers. All data for this study were collected through an online survey of 194 respondents. The sample of respondents comprises of business management students and managers from Czech Republic. The survey was conducted during the year 2012. The primary objective of this survey was to find the preferred managerial characteristics and their consequent comparision. The results summarise various and identical opinions of both groups of respondents in detail.	en
