dc.description.abstract The paper presents the first outcomes from the long year analyses and research studies in the industrial companies focused on their performance improvement. The basic methodologies of business models are compared and the new priorities of the industrial companies in performance improvement are defined. In the second part of the paper the latest developments in performance improvement method and methodologies are discussed. The basic results of the research show strong focus on flexibility and action, knowledge development and knowledge transformation into successful innovations based on the contradiction solution and quick interactions with the customers. en
